Last weekend we had a bbq and my cousin's kids were eager to toss the football around. After some instruction from yours truly, I ran inside to grab my camera and snapped a few action shots. NFL scouts check out this extension and form!

FINISHed 3d
From the last post, I put on a brand new spanking coat of paint. This was done with aluminum wire, aluminum foil , glued paper and magical paper clay. NO BAKING. after 3 days the sculpt is ready for priming and a day after that it's ready for color. I used acrylics for Billy and my character ANDY K.
This image of Andy is updated from the last version, I tightened him up a bit mostly on the face and the shirt.
This last image was done for my illustrated blog (look on the side for link) .
I usually don't go explaining myself with these doodles but I'll make an exception for this one.

paper clay ventures
I was at kid robot the other day and they had some mini figures of the monarch and doctor mrs the monarch. they were cool but too small, they should make them bigger so I can buy them. A little while ago I bought some paper clay and modeled the Monarch. I love this paper clay even though I can't get the details I can with super sculpey. It's air dry so I don't have to worry about the figure burning. And the price is very reasonable. I've actually been building up the models with paper and glue. The newest head will be Billy Quizboy. after the base is dry, i'll sand and finish off the bust. a few days after that I'll lay in some color.
