The "expert" says 10 years younger version of mona lisa. This is nonsense. Our faces do not get LONGER with age. This is a "good" copy. the colors and sensitivity of the stroke are off. The background looks like the copyist said, oh screw it, I'll change the background. (if it wasn't painted over even later by another person after the first copyist)

I did this drawing on my niece's easel. it's elmo, running. yeaaaaaaaaaa.

Draw exactly what you see.

Sometimes I would draw everything. Leave nothing out, no gestures, limit the summery, limit the suggestion. I would draw everything, every eyelash, every pore, everything. This is excellent exercise and better meditation.
